Please note that:

Regarding hotel accommodation for the 1st International Conference on Intercultural Dialogue through the Arts: Community Development, Education and Policy to be held in Saga and Fukuoka in Japan from 21-24 September 2017,

   • Days 1 and 2 will be held in Saga city
   • Days 3 and 4 will be held in Fukuoka city

The two cities are in neighbouring prefectures (about 60-90 minute journey between them, depending on the mode of transport). Thus, it is advisable to book rooms in two hotels. As there is a party at Tiempo in Fukuoka city on Day 2 (Friday night), we plan to finish that day's activities early enough to give people time to transfer to Fukuoka.

We recommend to stay overnight
   • Wednesday 20 - Thursday 21 September, in Saga City (2 nights)
   • Friday 22 - Sunday 24 September, in Fukuoka City (3 nights)

As for hotels:
   • In Saga, we recommend the New Otani. which is within walking distance of Saga University.
   • In Fukuoka, we recommend either the Nishitsetsu Grand Hotel, or the Nishitetsu Inn Hotel.

See:
   • Hotel New Otani Saga
   • Nishitetsu Grand Hotel
