• FUSAFES FULL PASS or WORKSHOP PASS purchaser is requested to show his/her ID with photo at each WS.
• The registered lessons are only for the applicants. They are not subject to transfer. If you violate the rule, you will lose the right to participate in the workshop lessons.
• Once the registration is finished, selected lessons are basically non-changeable. In the unavoidable case, please contact us by email at eventos@tiempo.jp.
•Any cancellation for personal reasons after payment of fee cannot be accepted. No refunds are available.

Percussion Workshop by Afro Cuban Japan

① “Yoruba”   (60min)

* For percussion beginners

Experience the bata drums, used in the Afro-Cuban Santería rituals. Among the many rhythms, we’ll focus on two essential and frequently played ones: Yakota and Omolode. You'll have the chance to feel the unique ensemble of three drums, along with singing and the clave that ties it all together.

② “Cuban Rumba”   (60min)

* For percussion beginners

Discover Cuban street music, Rumba. This workshop will highlight Guaguancó, the most popular style of Rumba. You’ll gain a basic understanding and experience of the intricate ensemble of clave, congas, and other essential rhythms.
